The Fighter

Muay Thai seems to be a recurring theme in recent blog posts. And whilst I continue to work on the documentary-short for the infamous Wicker Camp, there’s been very little time to take on new projects.

Two weeks ago, I finally got some downtime and managed to gather a small crew for some shooting fun at a local Muay Thai/Boxing gym in Bolsover, Chesterfield.

The shoot took one day – starting on a cold, wet and windy Sunday morning in the Peak District.

Hope you enjoy this edit by good friend Matt Davies and huge thank you to James Plummer, Josh Davies, Neil Maltby and the Bolsover Boxing Club for allowing us unlimited access to the ring!

Cameras used were A7Sii, A7S, FS700, GoPro and (at points) D7000.

N.B. I may get round to doing an edit myself over the holidays. However, in the meantime, enjoy this cut by good friend Matt Davies.

Hope you enjoy!
